The wireless handheld scanners are working; the issue was the disconnecting off the Wi-Fi units from the camera switch. I have since replaced the switch and found that two additional WI-FI units are not working. PLN will quote Europcar on replacing the network cables for these units. Although these units are down the signal strength of the area is good, this will increase once the other two units are activated.
The Wifi for the Depot hand scanners was provided and installed by a 3rd party company. The devices in use are Ubiquity AP's and does not form part of any management software or service at this stage.
We are in the process of procuring Aruba AP's for the Head Office locations and will deploy the existing MSM AP's for depot use. This wil lenable remote management and monitoring through the HP MSM wireless controller.
